Yuzukararin is made with yuzu citrus and chili peppers giving it bright fresh acidic yuzu flavor with salty and spicy peppery notes. It’s great in soups, on grilled proteins, and of course on rice, tofu or noodle dishes even pizza and desserts. Spread infinitely~~~
This product is produced and manufactured from Mihara Village in the Kochi Prefecture, an area rich in nature and famous for its citrus especially yuzu. Whenever we travel to travel to Japan and get a chance to go to Shikoku there’s usually two important jobs; trying to get tired of the locally caught katsuo and stocking up on yuzu.
We haven’t been able to find yuzukararin from Kochi that is labeled so that we can import it until now, and we worked to be able to import this item. We are very excited to share a taste of the island vibes from Japan’s least populated island Shikoku.
