Trade in sujihiki in great condition with original packaging. This iron clad carbon steel knife shows signs of use via some light oxidation on the core steel and a faint and isolated area on the ura side of the cladding. It does not appear that this knife has been sharpened other than the touch up we put on the edge prior to listing. Comes with BC First Free Sharpening Card from original purchase.
Toshihiro Wakui began his journey into knifemaking working long hours as an apprentice at Yoshikane Cutlery in Sanjo, Japan. Wakui-san forges, heat treats and grinds all his knives in his small Sanjo workshop. We first carried his knives in 2015 and were immediately impressed. His hard work shows in the quality of his smithing and excellent grinding work.
