Steel is likely a Swedish carbon steel as it feels like a higher carbon content steel and always perfomed very well for Western knife. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis knife had been sharpened just enough to warrant re-grinding and thinning along the faces of the blade. The \"Nordic marking\" was typically on the handle only but this handle is fairly worn. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBlade has a convex grind but has a little meat to it giving it a more robust feel, avoid hacking heavy bones but a good multipurpose worker here.
