This area is the primary hub of where bamboo tea whisks are crafted domestically, and has been the local craft there for over 500 years and designated a traditional craft by the Japanese government (\u003cem\u003edento kogei\u003c\/em\u003e). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnly using natural bamboo, there may be color differences between the whisks as the craftsperson determines which part of the bamboo to use depending on each bamboo stalk. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen removing from the box, please remove from the handle.
