Black Gold Barley Tea - 1kg

A 1kg bag of barley tea in beautiful retro packaging. 

Barley tea is an excellent caffeine free beverage enjoyed both cold in the summertime, or hot in cold weather. Made with 100% high-quality Hadaka-mugi (hulless or naked barley) that has been slowly roasted for long period of time with heated air, this product has a rich aroma. Barley tea is an excellent source of antioxidants, dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals and also aids digestion. Barley tea is caffeine-free, making it a good alternative for coffee, and in fact is often given to babies and toddlers in Japan for health and taste benefits. 

Brewing ratio: For 2L of hot water, put in about 50g of barley. Boil for about 2 to 5 minutes. For best taste, cool immediately. Put in a container and put in refrigerator to enjoy cold.
