Borachrome Plus™ - Boron Carbide & Chromium Oxide w/ Vanadium Carbide Deburring Compound - 25ml

Borachrome Plus™ is a abrasive rich boron carbide, Japanese chromium oxide and an extra vanadium carbide in a water based biodegradable paste. It is ideal for deburring coarse finished knives that are not excessively wear resistant ‘super steels’.

Excellent for deburring western stainless steel with a 1000 grit finish. 

Borachrome Plus deburring and polishing compound is made with a proprietary mix of chromium oxide, boron carbide and vanadium carbide at roughly 15,000 to 4000 grit in a water based paste with the majority of the product being abrasives. The boron carbide and vanadium carbide in Borachrome Plus has a much more aggressive cutting ability than chromium oxide on its own, yet still creates fine finish edges with the presence of chromium oxide. The addition of vanadium carbide adds extra cutting speed to this compound. 

A thin layer of this compound on a strop will last for between 40-60 stroppings.
