Hand made in France by Fontenille Pataud featuring a stainless blade, stainless bolster and hand filed spring. Handle is hafted in horn tip with stainless rivets.
The old style Rosette rivets on the handle have been modified to a simpler pin, but still maintains the old design element of the Basque pocket knife.
Fontenille Pataud is a small family business located in Thiers, in the beautiful Auvergne region in France. Thiers is world famous for its manufacturing of knives and cutlery.
They are well known for their Laguiole style knives, but other regional styles including the Vendetta (from Corsica), Yssingeaux, Saint-Bernard, and Basque knives.
