Hitohira KH 180mm Bunka Stainless

Monosteel Kanto style bunka made with a finely finished proprietary stainless steel and imitation mahogony pakka composite wood western handle.

This steel has an excellent blend of edge holding, sharpenability, edge formation, toughness and stainless properties. The handle work is very nice with a great fit and finish; smoothed heel and spine as well as convexity on the blade face for smooth cutting and good release. 

These have a strong right hand convex grind (right hand outside face is more convex than right hand inside face) with a 90/10 right hand bias to the finish sharpening.
