Helle 'Skog' 76mm laminated stainless steel blade with beechwood handle, comes with leather sheath. 185 mm overall length, 76mm cutting edge, 80 grams.

The Skog knife is a triple laminated stainless steel blade with traditional Scandinavian grind. Named after the Scandinavian word for 'forest', the shorter blade and contoured wooden handle is extremely versatile.  It can be relied upon for precise work and control for more robust, detail-oriented projects and carving.

Helle knives was founded in 1932 by brothers Steinar and Sigmund Helle, whose father, Bernt, was the town blacksmith in Holmedal, Norway. The original workshop was run without electricity and the first knives were bicycled through the mountains of Norway to be sold in Oslo. Helle knives are still made in Holmedal, where hand-work and the use of quality materials is still central to the production of knives. These knives are tested by Helle team members in the rugged mountains and fjords of Norway.
