Milie | Lottie wraps are inspired by all cultures that carry food wrapped in cloth; tea towels as we used in the South; cloth around the globe; inspired by the Furoshiki in Japan. The Heirloom wrap was designed to be more ergonomic and flexible to secure and carry a vast array of items in your kitchen.
Jan Hammock is the owner, founder, and designer of Millie | Lottie. The company is named after two strong women, her mom Mildred and Aunt Lottie Gray. She is also a San Francisco-based photographer, maker, and entrepreneur whose taste for smart style and home cooking are reflected in original, chic and highly functional designs for totes and wraps.
On sustainable design and production, Jan believes it is easy to be ZERO-WASTE if you are consciously involved in and oversee the design and the production. Living a sustainable life informs her design, production and the very nature of her reusable products. Materials are sourced in the U.S. and her team members are within two miles of her studio. Her patterns and cutting leave minimal waste, with left-overs used to inspire new designs.
