Nontron n25 'Sabot' 12cm folding knife. T12 Stainless steel. Boxwood handle with brass ferrule. 215mm open, 88mm cutting edge, 121mm closed, 41.4 grams
Nontron knives are produced in the village of Nontron, France by Coutellerie Nontronnaise. They feature a rotating ferrule that dates back to the 1600's, which holds the blade in a locked position. The Boxwood models feature patterns burned into the wood that make little 'flies,' although no one is quite sure what they represent.
