Nontron n50 'Sabot' 14cm folding knife. T12 Stainless steel. Boxwood handle with brass ferrule.
Nontron knives are produced in the village of Nontron, France by Coutellerie Nontronnaise. They feature a rotating ferrule that dates back to the 1600's, which holds the blade in a locked position. The Boxwood models feature patterns burned into the wood that make little 'flies,' although no one is quite sure what they represent.
