Vintage K Sabatier 8” chef knife imported by Intedge in the 1950’s or 60’s.

This knife was drop forged and then hand forged as can be seen in the steep taper in both the blade and the handle tang. Handle is walnut with brass cutlers rivets, it is secure and tight but the wood has shrunk a bit over the years and has been worn down away from the level of the top of the rivets through years of cleaning. Blade has been sharpened down some and is nearing when a thinning would be beneficial for super fine work.
