Hand forged after drop forged 12" carbon steel chef knife (with a more recently done maple re-handle) made in the USA in approximately the 1950s.

The blade has not been sharpened in so much that it requires thinning just yet. It has seen some rust and has some residual pits although the active rust is now all gone,  it has a fresh edge and is ready to get back to work.
