Handmade in North Carolina by Daniel Hilgenberg of Silverthorn Knife & Tool using American-made steels.
Silverthorn knives have a super loyal following (beyond the boning knife), and in the last year (2024-2025), production has been interrupted quite a bit. As of August 2025, the official word Hilgenberg is that he is relocating and has no current timeline for resuming production. The stock we have is the last available of the indefinite future.
