Custom handled American-made carbon steel paring knife from either Russell or Lamson. Handle is what looks like tiger maple with an engraved nickle plate held fast with three hand-made large copper rivets. 

Un-handled Russell blanks like this have been sold for many years, it could have been a re-handled knife as well, grind style looks like 60s on up, could be as late as 2010
