Luomanen & Kumpp 5" Puukko Scout Knife Carbon Steel & Birch Finland 1922-45

Vintage Luomanen & partners (1922-45) puukko scout knife made in Finland in excellent near mint condition.

Hand forged stone ground carbon steel blade, nickel guard, red and white spacers birch handle and aluminum pommel with leather sheath in great condition. 

This knife has never been sharpened, it has possibly been used but never ground, a hard thing to come by these are typically always ground on.

I opted to not clean it or sharpen and would encourage not sharpening at all, it will devalue it and remove the original geometry and form, it is very lucky to find one unsharpened like this.
