Vintage ‘Village Blacksmith’ brand hand forged carbon steel bullnose butcher made by Washington Cutlery in Watertown Wisconsin. VIllage Blacksmith was in operation from 1898 to 1940 and this one looks like it from the second half of that period, 1920s or 30s

This knife was sharpened down a bit and was obviously a workhorse for decades, it was getting a little thick behind the edge and had some stray pits and grinder marks, most of the pits have been removed in thinning but there are still some.

The one-piece walnut (?) handle has brass rivets; there was a crack on one side, but we filled it with epoxy, and it is now nice and solid.
