Seen at your favorite ramen or udon restaurant, the noodle strainer, aka "tebo" is a game changing kitchen tool for those that swear by word of the noodle. 

Take a large and deep enough pot that you can secure one of these to the edge while your noodles dance joyously inside, and then take the tebo out and strain the water  out of your noodles like a pro. (The act of "yugiri" or water straining of noodles is a true artform -- search in " 湯切り " in YouTube and you will be treated to a world of each chef's signature moves)

Besides being fun, yugiri is important to the taste of noodle dishes. Getting out all excess water prevents your important broth from being diluted, and in the case of ramen helps prevent the noodles from becoming sticky as it gets out the excess starch in the water. 

Stainless for durability, rosewood handle allows for it not to be too hot even after it has been so close to boiling water.
