Made in Sheffield England along an old English pattern we were excited to find this style of knife still in production, especially with the old style carbon steel blade

English style chef knives have a subtle but once you know it distinctive design; a triangular blade with a flat heel, (sometimes a nearly parallel spine and edge) and a saber shaped handle with small pointed birds head pommel.

These economically made knives have some small imperfections, slightly irregular edges or small cant to the blade, they are great work horses and great for history buffs.

All-around Use

Can handle almost any kitchen task.

Light Butchery OK

Safe for use around bones.

Stainless Steel

Non-reactive blade.

Tough Edge

Durable edge grind.

Ambidextrous

Suitable for all users.

Paring

A paring knife is a small, nimble kitchen knife designed for precise hand-held tasks. Its short, pointed blade excels at peeling, trimming, coring, and detail work on fruits and vegetables. Easy to control and maneuver, it’s a core tool for any fine prep that requires accuracy over power.
