Mysterious carbon steel cleaver marked Ausonia (Old Greek name for southern Italy) made from heavy 3.85mm thick stock with a deep red (paduak?) and brass handle. 

A great size for smaller butchery projects, the blade comes with a fresh convex edge and is ready to get to work.
