Colorful 15 Minute Rice Bran Wax Candles - 10 Pieces

Set of 10 candles made from rice bran wax. Each one made by hand by a family making candles since 1914 in Shiga, Japan, now on to its 4th generation craftsperson. 

These candles burn for 15 minutes and are perfect for a quick coffee break or meditation session.

Genuine Japanese candles (called wa-rosoku) are made using 100% natural raw materials, such as rice bran wax, allowing them to not only be environmentally conscious but also minimizing wax dripping and oil smoke.

Packaged in an illustrated box featuring a cat and a mouse. As Japanese candles are made from natural wax, historically Japanese candle makers have kept cats around to repel mice who can come to chew on the candles. By extension, a candle shop with cats is a testament to using natural ingredients. (Bonus mouse somewhere inside the package!)
