Hand forged in Vietnam with German-made leaf spring carbon steel and handled with local hardwoods. These rustic mono-steel knives cut nicely and sharpen super easily. These great value knives often have slight imperfections and the handle tones will vary from knife to knife. Overall weight can also fluctuate up to =/- 5g. We inspect every knife for major flaws prior to shipping.
Carbon steel will develop a patina, and rust if left wet. Dry immediately after use, never soak or put in the dishwasher. Rust can be removed with a light abrasive.
Please note, these can have cosmetic scratches or small imperfections in handles which will not impede the performance of the knife. This is par for the course on these knives and is part of how they sell them for a very reasonable price.
Knives come with a fresh edge from us at no extra charge plus a card for free follow up sharpening.
