Hand forged after drop forged slicer from Village Blacksmith made in Watertown Wisconsin in the 1920s.
Village Blacksmith made a lot of different knives but this was a very distinctive one based off a 19th century German butcher knife.
This knife was originally wider and has been thinned to bring it back to its original thickness. These are great for cooked or uncooked meats.
