Abercrombie & Fitch Sabatier 12" Flex Salmon / Ham Knife Stainless 1950s-60s

Abercrombie & Fitch Sabatier Ideal pattern salmon / ham knife (possibly made by Sabatier Trumpet judging from the from the model number?). Hand forged and hand ground after drop forged stainless steel 12" blade with nickel silver riveted walnut or pear wood handle.  
 This is from an excellent era of knife makng in Thiers, back in the day Abercrombie and Fitch sourced some of the highest quality cutlery and this is a great example of the early Ideal pattern hand forged and hand ground knives, 
 
This one is in great condition, it had a dull factory edge when found by us which has been sharpened. Handle is in great shape with no cracks or gaps and with a fresh coat of Mahoney's walnut oil to help rehydrate it from many decades of storage.
