Vintage Kaufmann K55K 3.25" pen knife model 5718 with stainless steel blades, 'butterscotch' composite (celluloid?) scales, brass liners with pins.
3.25" closed and 5 5/8" open, all mechanisms are smooth and solid, knife is unused in original packaging.
Found with other knives mostly made in the 70's and 80's, Kaufmann went out of business in 1995 and was purchased by Otter Messer who made some of the old Kaufmann patterns with their brand. This knife predates that by a long time, the absence of a bar code on the package likely puts this date of manufacture before the 1980's and is likely 1960's or 70's.
Closed length is 3.25" and open 5 5/8"
