Pre war F Dick sharpening steel (arrow faces handle not away) 14" long tapering from 1/2" diameter medium cut in great used condition. The grooves still have bite although they do not remove too much metal, the 14" length makes for easy use with larger knives or getting a nice long stroke on shorter knives making for fast honing. 

F Dick steels like these work wonders on vintage knives and even many modern Japanese knives that are hardened up to approx 63 rockwell.
