Landers Frary and Clark carving set made in New Britain Ct from approximately the 1880s to 1920 

Landers Frary & Clark was based in New Britain Ct. and started in 1865 continuing to mid 1960s, the LF&C Aetna works stamp was used over a long period; 1865-1965, however this set is clearly from the late 19th to early 20th century

Blade is forged carbon steel with fancy grinding on the spine and a wide, full scimitar shaped blade. Fork has a nickel plating over carbon steel tines and guard, steel is in great shape and is also forged carbon stee. 

Stag handles have been dyed a deep brown and they have nickel butt caps.
