Vintage J A Henckels 9" Slicer Carbon Solingen, Germany 1960-70

J. A. Henckels slicer drop forged and hand ground but with no hand forging, suggesting 1960s manufacture with the narrow bolster. Comes with fresh edge. 

This knife has been sharpened in a bit and thinned a little behind the edge, not totally reworked, it has a tough convex face behind the edge which will keep it from chipping grazing bone (think rack of lamb or carving around bone in steak).

9 1/8" cutting edge, 14" overall length
