Ontario or Clyde drop forged carbon steel chef knife with characteristic military contract boxy rosewood handle (this one nice and dark).

Marks are lost but these were made by those two American makers with light electro etchings and many also marked ‘US’.

Blades have a fair amount of pitting but isn’t too terribly sharpened in. Handles are nice and solid possibly one hairline crack from one rivet.
