Foster Bros 14" Scimitar Gold Star Series Carbon Steel

Vintage Foster Bros gold star series scimitar with very full 14" carbon steel blade and rosewood handle with brass star rivets. 

While the blade has not been sharpened in much the handle does show some wear from use and had a crack at the butt which has been epoxied, it is tight and secure and there are no large gaps or problem spots. 

The blade had some rust which has left some shallow pits and pepper spots, I opted to leave them rather than resurface the face as the appearance matches the condition of the handle. 

Always cool to find these they come around very seldom, especially in this XXL size.
