Antique ‘Village Blacksmith’ 8" cleaver made by Washington Cutlery (1898-1940) in Watertown Wisconsin circa 1900 to 1920. Blade had seen some rust and a little bit of hammering to the spine, it has been cleaned and the spine re-ground as well as the edge freshened up.
There are a few tight hairline cracks on the original wood handle but everything seems secure and tight now.
