Maple Congee Spoon

Based at the foot of the Hakone mountains 1 hour outside of Tokyo, Odawara has been known for its woodcraft since the Heian period (794-1185). We are partnering with craftspeople in Odawara that have been making wooden tools for more than 70 years, from lumbering raw wood, drying, processing and finishing. 

Made from North American maple wood, the spoons have been carefully hand shaped for a smooth feeling in the mouth.

As they are each made by hand, small differences may exist between products. 

Not for the dishwasher. Do not leave soaked in water.
