Everyday Western Knife Skills

This class is a hands-on overview of safe and proper knife technique. It focuses on a variety of commonly used knife skills and their related application in the kitchen. Students will be able to take home their ready to cook ingredients. Sharp knives will be provided.

About the Instructor:

Conor grew up in St. Petersburg, FL. After attending the Culinary Institute Of America in Hyde Park, Conor went on to work in restaurants in Baltimore and the San Juan Islands as well as Camino and State Bird Provisions in the Bay Area. Currently, Conor is a senior sharpener and sales floor associate at Bernal Cutlery. He draws influence in his cooking from both classic California cuisine as well as from his extensive travels of Mexico and Asia. He also enjoys backcountry hiking and open water swimming in his free time.
