Kuramoto wooden utensils are made in Miyajima Japan; an area famous for wooden cooking utensils. Kuramoto (est. 1915) makes a wide range of utensils. The dogwood varieties are slightly thicker and the cherry varieties have thinner blades and graceful contours.
