Drop Point Blade Shape

A drop point blade carries a gently descending spine that meets the edge in a strong, well-supported tip. This rounded, controllable point makes drop points excellent all-around cutters, especially in outdoor and everyday use. The shape balances slicing performance with durability, giving it a broad appeal across modern folding knives and field-ready fixed blades.

Fine Finish Axe

A fine finishing range of approximately 2000–6000 grit, producing a highly keen, low-roughness edge. The refined surface reduces friction at the wood–steel interface while allowing the edge to cleanly sever fibers rather than crush or tear them. This combination of reduced resistance and controlled fiber fracture enables the edge and axe head to pass more efficiently into the cut, improving penetration, control, and edge stability. Best suited for axes that cut across the grain rather than split along it, including felling, brush clearing, and especially carving.

CPM-S90V

Carbon (C): 2.25–2.35% | Chromium (Cr): 13.5–14.5% | Vanadium (V): 8.5–9.5% | Molybdenum (Mo): 0.9–1.1%

CPM‑S90V is a wear‑resistance specialist with very high vanadium carbide content. At ~59–61 HRC it offers outstanding edge life and good corrosion resistance, with reduced toughness and slower sharpening. Great for high‑volume cutting and fine, long‑lasting edges.
