Hand forged solid steel 7.75" cleaver with iron ferrule ring and turned hardwood handle. Marked only Ajax but looks like New England or New York manufacture. 

Blade has a fresh convex edge, a little epoxy added to the tang to prevent water from getting into handle, otherwise all secure and ready for more action.
