Made for the US military in 1966, this carbon steel chef knife would be the smaller somewhat lighter version ofthe big heavy 12" carbon steel chef knives provided for military use. 

This knife was a little rusty at the tip but sharpened down very little, we took the liberty of thinning the side opposite marks and a little on the mark side to preserve the Clyde makrings.

Nothing fancy here, a good sturdy multi purpose chef knife though.
