Hand made in Oakland California by blacksmith Elias Sideris in 52100 carbon steel with a brass ferrule, vintage micarta spacer and wood handle. The blade has a nice distal taper and is ground thin behind the edge but with just enough thickness along the hammer marked face of the blade to keep the blade rigid.

The blade is oil quenched and hardened to approximately 61 HRC giving them an excellent blend of edge formation, toughness and easy sharpening.
