Sabatier Trumpet / Ancien Maison 6” Bayonet Fork Stainless Walnut France 1950’s

Vintage 12” round tip carving knife made for Ekco’s Ancienne Maison series by Sabatier Trumpet in France in the 1950’s.

These were drop forged and then hand forged and hand ground to finish. This one has a walnut handle (they either came with walnut or plastic) and while the wood has shrunk some is in excellent condition. Blade has been sharpened in very little and aside from a few stray scratches over it’s original fine hand ground surface barely shows use. The edge has been touched up but it was a dull factory edge when we found it.
