 Vintage American 7" Bullnose butcher knife with carbon steel blade and rose wood and brass handle. Not a high end knife but a great example of the high quality of inexpensive work tools in the early 20th C. This knife was stamped (not forged) and then given a hand ground finish includint the decorative swedge or false edge on the spine.
