This product, from Shizuoka prefecture which is infamous for being "the" place for wasabi in Japan, boasts the use of only pure wasabi that is grown in Japan.
"Hon" wasabi means "true" or "authentic" wasabi, and you can taste the pure, fresh pungency with a delicate sweetness in this product.
Use for sushi, sashimi, soba noodles, cold tofu (including black sesame tofu), salad dressings and steak.
