Heavy hand made lobster splitter marked T.R. Mann Spokane Wa. I found this old listing from a previous sale on eBay, I cannot find much more information on T.R. Mann but here is the original listing:

"Blacksmith made chef's knife T.R. Mann, according to a member of his family from whom I got this chef's knife, was a blacksmith working in Spokane, WA from the 1890s-1930s. He made knives, cleavers, axes and hatchets for the Native American trade, as well as for town butchers and homeowners. This knife was said to be 100-years-old, but brand new, never used. After the blacksmith shop closed, the leftover stock was stored in a basement and only came to light recently. The 12" long blade is monster heavy, total weight about two pounds, stamped "T.R. Mann, Spokane, WA, on both sides. It is rough with imperfections to authenticate the era and that it is indeed hand forged. The hand made handle is walnut, fastened by brass rivets. Ask any questions prior to placing any bids"

This knife is in excellent condition it has been sharpened very little and seen no major rust, the handle is free from cracks.
