A Japanese horo enamel casserole pot and lid from Noda Horo.
Horo can be used on direct flame, IH induction stovetops, and in ovens. Horo conducts heat extremely well, hence it is ideal for boiling water, prep and cooking.
This size is perfect for making curry, stews, pasta, oden, etc.
As it is glass, it will not discolor over time nor will it absorb any orders or have any chemical reactions with what is inside. It is very easy to clean and maintain.
Horo is glass sprayed on metal, combining the strength of steel and the beauty of glass, and began to be made in Japan in the Meiji period.
Noda Horo has been around for 80 years, and their name is known around Japan for their high quality noro products. They are the only horo company in Japan that does every step of the manufacturing for horo, all by hand. They weld the steel to make the base structure, hand spray glass to each product, and fire in their kilns. All of their products are entirely made with parts from Japan.
