Imojiya TH
Stainless suminagashi clad VG10 stainless steel available with a linen micarta western handle or a hybrid ergonomic handle. Nice finish grinding work with convex faced blades, polished spine and heels with an attentive finish to the handles.
Smooth cutting with good edge life and a misty suminagashi cladding. Suminagashi means ‘floating ink’ and is the Japanese term for pattern welded steel which is colloquially known as 'damascus'. In itself it doesn’t impart any extra performance to the knife, but is a chance for the knife maker to be creative and add an extra visual dimension to the knife.
