Hand made by David Margrita with MA5MV German stainless steel and padauk wood in his Marseille workshop under his Misterbull brand.

These French friction folders are known as Capuchin in France for the resemblance if held upside down of the pommel to a monks hood. They are a very old style of construction with a pin behind the tang to stop the blade as it opens, but no lock, this design goes back hundreds of years and was popular among farmers and working people as a reliable inexpensive knife. David's take on them are simple and elegant, they feel comfortable in the hand and will age nicely with use.

David has been making knives since 2018 and doing it full time since 2019, we are really happy to add them to our lineup.
