Helle 'Jegermester' Scandi grind Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel fixed blade. Curly birch handle and brass guard decoration, with leather sheath. Blade is 135mm with 245mm overall length.

The Jegermester has been around for almost 20 years and is now a well established product in the Helle range. The well-proportioned handle and bigger blade makes this a great knife around camp. The handle is hand sanded to a satin finish with a shape that offers a safe grip with its countered handle. A go-to tool for many tasks – all the way from making feather sticks or tent pegs, preparing food, or for various tasks during the big hunt.

Helle knives was founded in 1932 by brothers Steinar and Sigmund Helle, whose father, Bernt, was the town blacksmith in Holmedal, Norway. The original workshop was run without electricity and the first knives were bicycled through the mountains of Norway to be sold in Oslo. Helle knives are still made in Holmedal, where hand-work and the use of quality materials is still central to the production of knives. These knives are tested by Helle team members in the rugged mountains and fjords of Norway.
