Unused Maxime Girard 10" stainless steel chef knife made in the 1970s with stamped stainless blade, cast aluminum bolster and black POM composite and brass riveted handle with original sleeve. 

While these were not the highest end French knives of their day for an affordable knife they cut well as the blade still has a nice hand ground convex face, thin behind the edge and stiff at the spine as a French chef knife should be
