Vintage Village Blacksmith carbon steel steel round nosed slicer from the 1930s with carbon steel blade and tropical hardwood handle. Semi stiff blade has been sharpened a little but not too drastically, it has a fresh edge and is ready to get back to thin slicing. 

Village Blacksmith was a brand of Washington Cutlery Co. in Watertown, Wisconsin (1898 to 1940)
