1878-1890 Foster Bros 11.5" bullnose scimitar (curved spine and edge rather than straight edged bullnose) with carbon steel blade and a recent custom rosewood and bullseye rivet handle. 

This blade likely dates from the 1878-1890 period when they used the mark 'Foster Bros' only, they used FOster Bros again in the 1950s but this is definitly not 50s production.

Blade is very full, opted to keep its patina as there was no active rust, handle is very clean and nicely done.
